Trauma Informed Justice Training and Advocacy
Trauma and Justice Involved Women
Who Speaks for Me? knows the unique challenges faced by justice-involved women and girls. To this end we seek to end the trauma-to-prison pipeline for women and girls by interrupting the cycle of abuse in the community as well as create harm reduction programs and training for women and girls who are incarcerated or on parole or probation.
We provide training and technical assistance to criminal justice stakeholders to understand trauma-informed care and its applications in the criminal justice system. We also advocate for policies and funding priorities that work to dismantle the trauma-to-prison pipeline for women and girls.
